University Project | 2025 | Camera Operator, Director, Writer, Producer, Editor, Actor.
As a part of my first year at on a BA Hons Filmmaking course, at Birmingham City University, I was put into a group of random people and required to make 5 short films with them.
Bon Appetit (Original)
Our first film within the group was about a chef who owns a failing restaurant turning to murder and cannibalism to keep his business alive in a world of harsh critics.
For this film we were given full creative control and 5 weeks to complete.
My role for this film was acting and editing.
Caught In The Act
The second film in this assignment follows a detective who catches a criminal trying to erase evidence of a crime they have committed.
For this film we were given a week to complete it and were told to make it black and white.
My roles within this film were acting and editing.
RUN!
Film 3 follows the story of a kidnapped woman attempting to escape her captor.
For this film we were told that we had to have a minimum of 30 shots and were given 1 week to make it.
My role for this film was directing, camera operating, editing and acting.
TWILIGHT?
The fourth film in this assignment follows a woman getting ready for a nap when she notices someone following her
My role for this film was assistant directing, camera operating and editing.
Bon Appetit (Remake)
For our final film we were asked to remake our first film, this time round we were given 2 weeks to complete it and were allowed to have a maximum runtime of 1 minute 30 seconds.
My roles for this film were acting as the lead and editing the final film.
